The NSE Nifty50 index ended 110.55 factors up at 16049.2, whereas the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 344.63 factors at 53760.78.
TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 3.23%), Titan Firm Ltd(up 2.93%), Tata Motors(up 2.84%), Hindustan Unilever(up 2.83%), Eicher Motors(up 2.67%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.61%), Maruti Suzuki(up 2.45%), Larsen & Toubro(up 2.35%), HDFC(up 2.25%) and Nestle India(up 2.22%) stood among the many prime gainers within the Nifty pack.
