TOKYO — Shinzo Abe, the previous prime minister of Japan, was left unconscious after being wounded on Friday whereas he was giving a speech in western Japan, in response to a hearth official.
Mr. Abe, 67, collapsed and seemed to be bleeding after a gunshot was heard within the metropolis of Nara close to Kyoto, in response to a reporter for NHK, the general public broadcaster, on the scene.
Seigo Yasuhara, an official within the command middle on the Nara Hearth Division, mentioned that Mr. Abe had been taken by an ambulance to a medical evacuation helicopter after which to a regional medical middle.
