President Joe Biden’s approval ranking dropped into the 20s for the primary time in his presidency, a Saturday Civiqs ballot revealed.
Simply 29 p.c of voters approve of Biden, whereas 58 p.c disapprove. Solely 19 p.c of independents approve of Biden. Sixty-seven p.c disapprove. Amongst Hispanics, simply 36 p.c approve. Forty-eight p.c disapprove.
Solely 63 p.c of Democrats approve of Biden, down from 88 p.c since final July. Biden’s approval has dropped 5 factors since June 20. Simply 36 p.c of Democrats need Biden on the 2024 ticket.
Biden’s approval ranking is traditionally low. In line with Gallup, 5 presidents have sunk into the 20s. These presidents embody Harry Truman (22 p.c), Richard Nixon (24 p.c), Jimmy Carter (28 p.c), George H. W. Bush (29 p.c), George W. Bush (25 p.c).
