Cheick Doucoure’s lawyer, Maitre Alexis Rutman, has revealed the footballer has been the alleged sufferer of blackmail since his transfer to Crystal Palace.
The midfielder not too long ago joined the Premier League membership for a reported £18m payment having impressed at RC Lens final season.
Since his transfer nonetheless, the participant’s lawyer has launched a press release which alleges that Doucoure has been the sufferer of blackmail.
The assertion launched on Twitter reads: “For the reason that announcement of his switch from RC Lens to Crystal Palace, Mr. Cheick Oumar Doucoure and his entourage have been victims of blackmail and an try to extort cash from a number of people appearing in live performance (a participant’s agent and a photographer, supported by a journalist), clearly attracted by the supposed positive aspects from this transaction.
“These people declare, with false proof, that my shopper would have a double id and demand a fee of a sum of cash in alternate for his or her silence.
“A number of WhatsApp messages to this impact, accompanied by false paperwork, have been despatched to my shopper and his entourage over the previous few days. This case could be very severe and clearly unacceptable.
“My shopper and his entourage won’t give in to such actions which expose their authors to extreme prison sanctions.
“All applicable authorized actions will probably be carried out, each on a prison and civil stage, towards these three people but in addition towards all those that would assist, endorse, relay in any kind by any means, such actions and/or such slanderous accusations.”
